Allied industry manifestos

Biomin UK

Who am I? I have spent my whole career (now 37 years) in the United Kingdom animal feed and food industries, and have held senior commercial management roles with likes of AB Agri, EWOS (leading salmon feed supplier in Scotland) and Biomin, having originally started my career in a technical role with Pedigree Petfoods (Mars).
What I would like to achieve? To help with the positive promotion of United Kingdom pig and pork products industry, fighting for a level playing field with our EU/European neighbours and competitors on key industry issues such as antibiotic usage reduction (where Biomin have a range of products which are actively being used to help such reduction), animal welfare and health standards. Being a Council Member of BAFSAM (British Association of Feed Supplement and Additive Manufacturers), I will also be able to further represent the requirements/wishes of the NPA and the United Kingdom pig industry at BAFSAM events with other groups such as AIC, FSA, FEFANA etc. I really want to further help our great but often misrepresented pig industry, being elected to the NPA AIG would certainly be a means of providing such help on a week-week basis.
